Support Needed for Emergency Car Repair
Donation protected
Hello everyone. Most Americans can't afford a $1,000 emergency, and I am, sadly, one of them.
Driving my girlfriend to her occupational therapy appointment yesterday, I hit something on the highway that flattened one of my tires. We weren't hurt, and I managed to get my car towed to a repair shop. Now I'm sitting here and waiting to hear from a mechanic, but I can't imagine this will be cheap.
The problem isn't covering the repair. It's covering the repair AND being to pay bills and buy groceries for the next two weeks.
The world is in a very bad place right now and there are people who need your help far more than a 40-something white guy who (for a variety of reasons) has never built up a savings cushion.
But...if you can find it in your hearts to help me out, I will find a way to pay it forward, or return the favor for you someday. Thank you.
