In Memory of PC Kev John

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of PC Kev John, who died on Wednesday 6th May 2026.

Kev began his service as a Special Constable at Kennington, before becoming a full-time Police Officer on 28th June 2010. He dedicated his entire policing career to Lambeth, where he served with pride, commitment, and unwavering professionalism.

Throughout his career, Kev spent time on Safer Neighbourhood Teams, but the majority of his service was on response, most recently as part of ‘A’ Relief at Brixton, where he was a familiar and respected face. Whether attending calls, supporting colleagues, or driving the carrier on aid duties, Kev was known as one of the hardest working officers around, someone who never hesitated to go the extra mile for both his team and the public.
Kev was more than a colleague, he was a friend, a mentor, and someone you could always rely on.

Now, it is our turn to support the family he leaves behind.
Kev is survived by his long-term partner of over 20 years, Justine, and their two children: Grayson, aged 7, and baby Maddox, just 6 weeks old.

While Kev’s family will receive financial support through his pension, group insurance, and the Police Orphans Fund, these processes take time. This fund has been set up to provide immediate support, helping the family through the difficult weeks and months ahead, allowing them the space to grieve without the added worry of financial pressure.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference.

Thank you for your support.
