Elizabeth's Surgery & Med Costs!

Hi everyone, Elizabeth here. So...surgery.....
As many of you may know I was involved in a car accident last year that left me with about $25,000+ in medical bills ( a year's worth of doctor's appointments, physical therapy, chiropractic care, imaging and all the things). The wonders of insurance have made the process of my family getting any money back a very long one. We will eventually get something back, but for now, our credit cards are maxed and we're scraping week by week.
Which leads me to this: I need surgery. About two months ago I went to the doctor because I felt a small mass in my abdomen. After having an ultrasound, we found out that I have a benign tumour about the size of a squash (Kombocha, to exact) in the muscle of my uterus. I'm basically 4-6 months pregnant with a squash. In order to keep me healthy and to attempt to keep my fertility (cause I would very much like to have a real baby) I need to get that squash baby out.
Because of the size and placement it can't be done as an outpatient surgery. So I'll spend 3-4 days in the hospital post-surgery and will have to take 5-6 weeks off of work for recovery. And being hourly part-time, that will be without pay.
I found out today that I have to pay for part of the surgery at my pre-op appointment on May 6th. Just over $2,000. Total, the surgery will end up costing around $4,500, even with insurance.
The medical bills over the past year and a half have become a huge burden on my family. This added expense is too much for us to handle alone. I thank you in advance for your good thoughts and any kindness you can give. I can't begin to tell you how much any little bit will help. I will pay it forward, and if you need a tutor for your kids I'm there! Love you all so much, <3
