PBY Engine Repair Campaign

Soaring by the Sea Foundation’s PBY-5A Catalina, “Princess of the Stars,” is grounded after an engine failure during a recent flight. She’s waiting in Arlington, Washington, until we can acquire and overhaul a WWII radial engine and complete the swap.

This aircraft is the heart of our mission. She flies to honor veterans, inspire youth, and bring history to life for the public. And she’s one of the last of her kind still flying.

We’re raising $100,000 to complete this mission with the first $50,000 being matched by a generous supporter.
