I am writing to you with an urgent and heartfelt plea on behalf of my brother and his innocent young family, who are trapped in the harrowing conditions of Gaza. My name is Mohammed, a Palestinian living in Norway, and I am reaching out in desperation as their situation has become truly unbearable.

My brother’s family consists of his three precious children: Nader, a bright and curious 10-year-old; Nara, a sweet and gentle 8-year-old; and little Nour, who is just 2 years old and full of innocent wonder. They also have a small pet, Koky, who has been a source of comfort amid the chaos. They once had a beautiful home, purchased with their life savings despite the severe economic hardships and blockade in Gaza. It was their sanctuary, a place where they dreamed of building a future.

Tragically, their dreams were shattered when their home was bombed and completely destroyed in the relentless conflict. They lost everything they had worked so hard for, and their lives have been turned upside down. Now, they are forced to live in a tent, constantly on the move, trying to escape the continuous bombings that haunt them day and night. There is no safe place in Gaza; they live in perpetual fear, with the threat of death looming over them at every moment.

The emotional and psychological toll on the children is heartbreaking. They have witnessed the deaths of friends and family members, and their once bright eyes are now filled with fear and sadness. Nader and Nara miss their school and the simple joys of childhood, while baby Nour is growing up in an environment filled with terror. Their father holds them close every night, whispering prayers for their safety, but the bombings continue, merciless and unending.

Finding food has become an insurmountable challenge. They often resort to eating animal feed or spoiled food, and many nights the children go to bed hungry. The constant hunger and malnutrition are taking a severe toll on their health and spirits. The sounds of explosions are a constant backdrop to their lives, robbing them of any sense of security or peace.

My brother dreams of a future where his children can sleep without fear, attend school, and grow up in a safe environment. He longs to provide them with a chance at a normal life, far away from the horrors they currently endure. However, the borders remain closed, trapping them in this cycle of despair.

I am reaching out to you, pleading for your support to help my brother’s family escape this nightmare. They need urgent assistance to relocate to a place where they can rebuild their lives in peace and safety. Your generosity could be their lifeline, providing them with hope and the chance to survive away from the horrors of war.
