Miracles Happen

In July our lives were forever changed. Brooke was a victim of Rockford's gun violence. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Brooke sustained injuries that originally only gave her a 5% chance but her survival is proof that MIRACLES HAPPEN!!! For 3 weeks she was in the neuro trauma intensive care unit fighting for her life. She was then transferred to The Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago where she spent 6 weeks doing intensive therapy. Now, Brooke is doing outpatient therapy and learning to walk again.  The family has had several expenses; travel to and from Chicago, hotel accommodations for family, equipment and supplies that are not covered by insurance, lost wages, relocating to a place that will better accommodate Brooke and her new needs.  The expenses are adding up and we need your help.
