Dear Friends, Family, and Anyone who can help: Our friend, Ana Mendez, is having the fight of her life and needs our help. This Go Fund Me is being set up for her and her loving family as the financial burden of what she is enduring will be extremely challenging without our help.

On Tuesday September 26th Ana was taken to the hospital via ambulance due to extreme abdominal pain. It was discovered she had a Diverticulitis attack (infection in the digestive tract) which in turn caused an eruption on the colon. The infection was so severe doctors needed to proceed with a colostomy leaving Ana with 40 stitches down her abdomen and a stoma (an opening in her abdomen).

Prior to this diagnosis Ana was a hard working mother of 3 that enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She loved her job in the restaurant industry and always showed such great hospitality to anyone she came across. She is strong with a fighting spirit but she needs OUR help with this fight. This has left Ana with the financial burden of medical expenses and housing bills.

This GoFundMe is being set up to help assist Ana with current and future medical expenses, housing expenses, physical therapy, and maintenance of her stoma. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in Ana’s life and her family's well-being.
