For Hailey

This is the hardest thing we have ever had to do. Yesterday morning, Friday, April 2, 2021, our whole world was ripped apart. We lost our daughter.  We lost a sister, a granddaughter, a niece, a friend. Most importantly, Hailey lost her mother. A mother that loved her daughter more than anything else in this whole world and would lay her life on the line to protect her. Our daughter, our sweet angel, Jessica, left this world peacefully in her sleep next to our beautiful granddaughter Hailey.  Jessica had the kindest heart and always fought for what was right in this world so that Hailey would have the best future possible. If you knew her, you understand what I am saying. We have a long battle ahead of us, for Hailey’s sake. If you know us, you know that we are a proud family and it is hard for us to seek out help from others, but here we are. We need to hire an attorney to help us retain some sort of custody of Hailey so that she can continue with her life with as much normalcy as possible here in Quincy. It’s going to be a hard, trying, and stressful time for all of us, but especially for our sweet little granddaughter Hailey.

We also need to prepare to lay her to rest, that cost alone is going to be financially difficult for us because we were in no way prepared for this unexpected turn. A young child is not supposed to lose their parent. If you feel that you would like to help us in anyway possible, we would be so grateful and appreciative. 

Please, for Hailey and Jessica, hug your children and your loved ones today and every day. That’s what Jessica and Hailey did everyday and thats what Jessica would would ask of you. Hailey now has her very own guardian angel watching over her and protecting her, always and forever.
