Help Alex (AKA Bill) fight cancer
Donation protected
Our beloved shop apprentice, Alex (or as many of us know him, Bill) has been diagnosed with Ewigs Sarcoma right at the start of the next phase of his apprenticeship . It is likely as a result from his treatment for Lymphoma a few years back.
Bill has been a part of Faith for well over the last 10+ years. His titles have ranged from client, to shop best friend, part time shop help, and now full time apprentice. Without the hard work and dedication of Bill, weathering the storm of 2020 and the pandemic would have been a different beast that I'm not sure we would have come out of as fortunately as we have. We all believe that Bill is going to beat this and go on to become a tattooer.
Given the timing of all of this being mid pandemic, he hasn't been able to work even the limited hours that would be available to him because of being immunocompromised. He has applied for state disability to hopefully cover his rent and bills, but we all know how much of a nightmare the bureaucratic process is, especially this year.
So, let's all put our generous feet forward and do what we're capable of. Any amount will help, any shout of support for Bill will not go unnoticed. Can't donate? send Bill a letter to the shop. the more obscure, self deprecating, and sarcastic, the more he'll appreciate it.
All the love,
The Faith Crew
