Help Lady walk again!

"Hello, my name is Lady, I am an energetic, very loving and goofy Akita mix but have a torn my ACL and can no longer put weight on it! :( The surgery is called TPLO and is scheduled for 5/1/24. My mom has a hard time asking for help, so I thought I would give it a try! Look at all the adventures we have gone on (pictures below) She rescued me from a shelter in Alaska and has made my life amazing! We still have so many more adventures to go on so we would appreciate any help! "

Some might think it's crazy to spend so much on “just a pet” but Lady is so much more than that to me. I rescued her from a shelter in Alaska and she's been with me through deaths, break ups, moves, a pandemic...anything and everything! I am not sure how I would have managed without her. And for some of you that do not know, I myself have multiple (yes, I said a multiple… ><) genetic medical conditions that put me at high risk if I were to try to have children so having a pet means a great deal to me!

I am only asking for help to reach some of the lower end of the estimate (picture below). This estimate has a follow up package that includes post op appointments, Xrays, physical therapy, and laser therapy if needed. Lady still has a lot of life left in her and I hope to continue to take her on many more hiking adventures ! If you are able to donate any amount, we both would greatly greatly appreciate it!
