Hi everyone, I created this go fund me to help my sister vassa with medical expenses. Vassa has been battling thyroid cancer and all the obstacles that come along with it, as well as recently undergoing surgery to remove 2 growths found in her right eye. With all the treatment, medications, scans and doctor visits her and her family are significantly struggling due to her not having medical insurance. She is currently needing new scans as her voice has been changing and they are concerned the tumors may be growing significantly and pressing against her vocal chords. however, due to cost out of pocket she is unable to get any scans or appointments for treatment scheduled. She has applied for Oregon health plan however she was told it would take time for an approval or denial. We are asking our family, friends and community for a helping hand during all this. All proceeds that are donated will be used to help pay for any and all of vassa’s medical expenses and to help alleviate some of the financial stresses the family is going through.
