Kari, as most of us already know, is the ray of sunshine that everyone needs in their life. From her infectious laugh to her addictive smile, she always finds a way to hold on to the good in all things. Even Leukemia. From day one of this battle, Kari has taught all of us about persistence, courage, and what it means to be a warrior.

Kari is the mother to two of the coolest little boys you'll ever meet, Camden and Brayden and her husband Tyler is currently in dental school, making his dreams come true. Kari is also a PICU nurse and has spent countless hours caring for and giving hope to families with nowhere else to turn and now, this is our chance to be that hope to her and her family. Kari and her family have faced more diversity in their lives than any family should have to endure, they handle it all with such a positive attitude and what we all love most about them...humor. There isn't a family around who is more deserving to kick Leukemia's ass and move forward with the incredible life that lies ahead of them.
While a journey like this can often times seem lonely to those who are on it, we as her family, friends, and co-workers have made a pact, whether with each other or with ourselves, to be the army that Kari, Tyler, Brayden and Camden can lean on and depend on no matter how long they need us. This is the definition of love and this is not only Kari's fight, it's all of ours.
Nothing in life is free and as you can imagine, Kari's treatments are not something any of us can imagine being able to afford. Our purpose for setting up this fund is to ask that you find it in your heart to help this battle be as stress free as possible. Please help us rally the troops, and give what you can to ease the burden that this has put on Kari and her family. ANY AMOUNT IS WELCOME whether it is $5.00 or $500.00. It all adds up and will go miles to ensure that Kari can continue to fight without worry. We have the power to lift her up like she has for so many others!
