Please help Rachel's Family - if you can!

Update: Our darling sister lost her battle just over 4 shorts months after we learned her diagnosis was terminal... I just wanted to thank everyone thus far who has helped and donated and prayed and shared and just loved us all so much. She truly got to spend her last few months free from the stress of financial burden for the first and last time of her spectacular life. There have been a lot of kind people who have asked how they can still help even in her passing. So I've decided to send this around again for anyone who is wanting and able to help her immediate family get back up and at 'em as they learn to adjust without their rock, their provider, their protector and most importantly their Wife and Mother. Time will mend, but time, takes time. Our gratitude goes out to all of you warriors and supporters out there. Bless you all!!!

Many of you reading this will remember that my sister, Rachel, was diagnosed with breast cancer about 2.5 yrs ago... She was treated with chemo, followed all the doctor's orders, and was said to be cancer free after a double mastectomy and radiation therapy over a year now. Despite regular check-ins and follow-ups, about a month ago she went to urgent care due to severe shortness of breath where they detected a massive pleural effusion taking up more than 2/3rds of her left lung. She was sent over to the ER where further testing was done.

Unfortunately, the cancer is back and it has come back with a vengeance. Over the following few weeks with many more tests, it has been officially confirmed that her cancer has spread to her lungs as well as her bones... Very rapidly and to multiple areas of both. And also, unfortunately, very terminal. Appointments have been made with places like Moffit to see how long she can stretch out the inevitable and relatively short prognosis. She is not giving up by any means. She will be trying any methods that are made available to her, traditional or otherwise. But in the meantime, she also has chosen to accept the facts associated with the current situation and prepare for the worse. This girl just wants to live what is left of her life to the fullest... and love on her family as much as possible.

Currently, the wheels are in motion to help her get some form of assistance as this horrible diagnosis will come with a bit of aid. But until then, as she has not been able to work, she will be moving into our parent's home and needs help financially to get over the hump and to NOT STRESS OUT. This is most important! Our family, as big as it is, has had its fair share of hardships. We do what we can for one another, and I know we have also asked a lot of our tribe and our communities. But I can not stand to watch her struggle. I can't give her what she deserves alone. And I want to give her everything. I know that money isn't everything, but it sure helps her live what time she has left in peace and hopefully in some form of comfort. I have to do and try everything I can. She would do the same for me.
