As many of you may have already learned, the Morris family received some heart-shattering news one week ago, on Thursday, August 20th. Their teen daughter, Payton, was diagnosed with leukemia and was almost immediately started on an aggressive course of chemotherapy.
Over the course of the next 6 months, Payton faces a long, grueling road which will include multiple phases of intense treatments and countless nights away from home. Mike and Michelle exchange hospital shifts as the days run together while they also attempt to continue some sense of normalcy for Michael and Bennet, even as school is about to begin.
