Payton Lay Memorial Fund

On January 16, 2022, Jillyin and Braden unexpectedly lost their first-born son, Payton Tyler Lay . Payton, 19, was a loving and kind soul to everyone he met. He always greeted everyone with a big hug and a positive attitude. He was a vibrant light, a lover who reciprocated love to everyone around him. Payton recently suffered the loss of his maternal grandparents, Marty and Nancy Smith, just 21 months ago, in a tragic accident in the desert. This is where he lost his own life, in the desert, doing what they all loved. Payton and his younger brother Ethan were raised on dirt bikes by their “Papa”, he started them early and taught them everything he knew. Sadly, fate had other plans for them all.
