First off I initially felt very uncomfortable in doing this. In my Outreach Ministry I have no problem at all posting about the needs of the Homeless and securing assistance for our Neighbors in Need. But when it comes to myself I feel undeserving. A friend at church the other night told me how could I serve others unless I saw to my own needs first? So here is my story. Since 2014 I have been battling a cancer called Squamous Cell Carcinoma in my left ear. In 2015 a doctor cut the cancer out. It grew back. In 2016 the doctor cut it out again. It grew back. In early 2017 the doctor tried a different tactic and used acid. It never healed and in fact the cancer grew back even more aggressively. I was referred to a specialist and I am scheduled for the very expensive Mohs surgery on February 8th. I received my paper work last week and I am expected to have the $1250.00 copay up front before the surgery. I have exhausted all my options to raise this payment but it is just not in my budget. So that same friend suggested a Go Fund Me account. I told her I was not comfortable with this but would pray over this suggestion. God has given me a peace to post this request to my brothers and sisters in Christ. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated.
