We the Fernandez Family are sadden to announce the passing of John Fernandez. He passed away on November 19, 2020 at 1:40am in the Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He had a Pulmonary Embolism and medical professionals have theorize that it was caused due to his battle with COVID-19 in late March of this year. 

John Fernandez was known for his playful nature, unwavering courage, and caring spirit. He leaves behind 3 sons and his beloved wife. 

The bond between his wife of 32 years always brought out their inner child. Their marriage birthed 3 sons in which he nurtured and protected with his life. He loved his sons with all his heart by investing all his time to ensure they became strong willed men, made sure they treated everyone with dignity & respect, and always being there for them no matter what. They do not make men like John Fernandez anymore and he will forever be missed, but never forgotten.

This platform provides the Fernandez Family a central place to bridge the gap between those who are grieving with us and those who want to support, but are not sure how. 

Visitation will be on Monday, November 30th, 2020, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm  followed by a 1:00 pm funeral service officiated by Rev. Ron Machado at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy
