On June 1st we said goodbye to my husband after spending a week surrounded by his loved ones. Two weeks ago my husband was admitted into the hospital because he had trouble breathing. He has struggled with Chronic Obstructive pulmonary Disease for several years. After being admitted into the hospital the doctors told me he has respiratory and heart failure and the chances of recovery are slim. As a result, I decided to bring my husband home to be surrounded by his loved ones. My husband was well known in his community (Ontario).
