My amazing best friend, Jolene, unexpectedly lost her mother a few days ago. Her mom, Suzanne Fritch, was a firecracker from Boston. She raised the most incredible person in the world, which is only one example of Sue's strength and character. The relationship Jolene and Sue had was so special, incredibly beautiful and all of us feel honored to have witnessed it and been welcomed so wholly into their lives. Sue made all of us feel like family. Even after Jolene moved to Denver, we were always invited over for her famous steak dinners. I always left her place feeling so loved and empowered. Sue will be missed by everyone who knew her, but most of all Jolene. She was always so proud of Jolene, for following her heart and moving to Denver, for her strength, sense of adventure and independence.
