Hi, my names is Destinee Ramis, daughter of Shikara Sanders. She was just 43 years young when she was freed due to a fatal seizure. My brother and I are absolutely devastated by Shikara’s passing and are struggling to gather funds. We wanted to start a fundraiser for assistance in celebrating her life with a beautiful memorial (yet to be determined), final arrangements, as well as other expenses.

Shikara was a wonderful person with such an infectious spirit. She touched so many lives. She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved so selflessly. One of my favorite memories with her was seeing how excited she was to be a grandma.
