Paying Tribute to Scott Mahoney and Family

It is with extreme sadness that we have to share the passing of Scott Mahony. To say this is devastating is an understatement. If you were lucky enough to know Scott then you know he was a selfless man with an electric smile and a heart of pure gold. A man who was a true hero to so many.
If you grew up anywhere along Lennox road between the fields and Kenmore Road in Upper Darby, then you can remember the drums being played loudly on any given day. Quite a player he was too! Scott was always musically inclined. He was talented and loved to play.
Scott was chief of the Delaware county park police and a lifetime member of the upper darby fire station company-37. Scott was also involved in many other
civic organizations
Personally, Scott was my adopted big brother. Best friend to my real big brother John Falls. There's not a time in life Scott wasn't there when it mattered the most. Not once! The memories I have are irreplaceable and will take them with me always.
Scott leaves behind his lovely wife Randi and four amazing children. Erin, Shamus, Rylie, and Kaylee. The true loves of his life. Scott was such a proud family man. With all his great accomplishments in life, his family was the greatest and meant the most to him.
We've truly lost one of the greats! A man who I was truly honored and blessed to know. Please help me in raising some money for Scott's family to help them through this extremely difficult time. To me, it's the least that can be done for a man who gave so much to so many others.
"May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand."
Love you, Brother.
