This GoFundMe page is to support the Gasca family, who suffered an unimaginable loss. In the early hours of Sunday, April 14th, Sandy Gasca was taken from us. With her unexpected passing, Sandy leaves behind her husband Tommy and children, Tereza, Thomas and Marissa. They are an incredible family who deserve the very best care, love and support in order to get through this devastating time. Although the Gasca family would never ask for help, they are some of the most loving and generous people, so I am asking (with family consent) for others to consider donating to support the family in the short- and long- term.
 
Sandy Rios Gasca was born on March 3rd, 1967, in the short 52 years of her life, to anyone who knew her, Sandy was an incredible mother, wife, daughter, sister, Tia and friend. She was the kind of person who would give you a hug and remind you that you are loved. She would share anything with you – her time, her possessions, her love, and her support. As a mother, she loved her family and would do anything for them. She loved to travel and watch her kids play ball. A well respected and loved middle school aide at O’Hara Park Middle School, Sandy was passionate about her job, always ensuring the safety of students. 
 
Sandy’s passing is tragic not only for her loss of life but the devastating effects on her entire family. I have known this family almost a decade, they treat me and my children like their own. Please know that any amount, no matter how small, will benefit the Gasca family. Whether for the significant funeral costs or the loss of family income, your donation will make a mark, make a difference, in the lives of Tommy, Tereza, Thomas and Marissa. May they live long happy and healthy lives with the help of all of us.
