Paying tribute to Samantha

Samantha. She was a sister, a daughter, an aunt, a grand daughter, and a friend to some of you, to animals, she was simply a lover. Fond of horses, Mac n cheese, phone convos and snapchat. Someone like you and me. Someone loved and appreciated.
Sam was my best friends sister. Met her when she was very little. We would drive her to the mall and she would wear her From First to Last shirt and usually a tie. She was in her Avril Lavigne phase. She was hilarious and she had a beautiful lovable smile with little freckles on her nose.
Thats my memory of her. Just young innocent Samantha. Occasionally arguing with Dylan and Tyler and next thing they were all best friends. It was always warming to watch all three of them walk together with the dogs and be included in our group of friends.
We had great time in our travels. Specially, the vacation in Maine with Mikey. Sam was there and we were all sneaking beers out of the fridge and listening to Daft Punk and talking about David Loach.
Unfortunately, life came too fast. Sam left us unexpectedly on Monday. Leaving a void in the Smith family and breaking the hearts of many, including Mac, Miss Kitty, Holly and Emily.
Those were friends that stood by Sam through thick and thin. Never judged only loved. Everyone did their best to help her and make her life a little better and in return, she put a smile and brought light to some people who were in dark times.
I know Sam had a difficult life, but she always smiled. Last time I saw her and she was playing Basketball with Mac, and she seemed like she was having a good time. That's my last image of her. Sam just doing her thing playing with her beloved Mac.
Sam, I'm sorry about what happened. My heart is broken for you, Dylan, Tyler, Carey, and Cheryl. I hope you're up there with Mikey, Travis, Bailey, Big Kitty, and all of our friends and pets that are watching over us. Please watch over Mac and Emily and Holly and all of your friends and family.
