Hi my name is Jenay the grand daughter to ruthie and I'm fundraising for my grandma Ruthie Pompa. My grandma recently caught covid and was on a respirator for the passed month. On 2/4/22 at 6:47pm i received a call from the doctor stating my grandmother had taken her last breath and is no longer with us.

I am heartbroken, completely devastated my world is upside down and words can't explain the amount of pain I feel. I loved her. Deeply. I did everything that I can possibly do for my grandma but my prayers and efforts weren't enough. She was a loving, funny, outgoing, talkative person who easily made friends with anyone she came in contact with. She lit up the room every time she walked in her presence is what made everyone love her. Not to mention she was a great cook. Although she is gone what I do have is all the special memories her and I had and I will cherish them for the rest of my life. Rest in peace grandma you were a beautiful soul with the biggest heart i love you and i miss you.
