Paying Tribute To Rodney Steven Lane
Donation protected

We lost our beloved Rodney on 1/15/2021. The same day that Dr. Martin Luther King was born. Rodney admired his body of work since he was a child. It seems almost fitting that God chose that date for Rodney to go home and be with Lord.
Rodney meant a lot to all of us. It would take me all day and night to recount the many good times we've shared with him. He was funny as all get out! I think we can all think of something that Rodney has said that made us laugh until we almost cried!! (smile) We will sure miss him, but let's be thankful for the wonderful memories he has left with us.
Rodney loved and cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, "gruncle" (grandpa-uncle to my granddaughter, Gigi, and Wendi is "grauntie".. grandma-auntie), and a loyal friend. Rodney will be sorely missed. This is such a HUGE loss for all of us!!
I'm requesting donations on behalf of my sister, Wendi Lane, so she can give her husband a proper homegoing. She feels that he had too many people who loved him, not to have a beautiful and loving memorial service in his honor. There will also be some residual hospital fees that she'll be responsible for. I definitely want to help her ease this burden as well.
Thank you all for being a part of Rodney's journey..... I'm sure that you had a very special place in his heart.
Until we meet again, Little Brother...
