Paying Tribute to Robert Friedman

I am Colleen Vermillion & it breaks my heart to be putting together this fundraiser on behalf of Alison Hiestand Friedman & her two boys, Bryce & Collin ,as a consequence of losing their dedicated father & husband. Alison & Rob started their love story more than 31 years ago , creating their family of four. He was diagnosed with Small Cell lung cancer in Sept 2021. Alison remained by his side as he underwent 30 rounds of chest radiation. 10 rounds of whole brain radiation, and multiple bouts of chemotherapy. Aug 2022 cancer spread to leg bone. He had a 14" rod put in.He fought hard the whole way and never once complained.He maintained his independence and dignity throughout. Before he let go, Alison told him our family would be strong. She told him we have a lot of support. Rob's wish was to be cremated & the family's wish is to celebrate his life with a memorial surrounded by his loved one's. Contributing to this cause will help Alison with the cremation, memorial & financial support she needs for the growth of her family.Thank you for any & all donations!
