This is a paying tribute to Richard Herrera also know as Ricky Mendoza. Sadly he has Passed Away on September 15th, 2021. He was a beloved Husband, Father of 3, Grandfather of 9, and a Great Grandfather of 11.

He got married to Fay Herrera also known as Tootsie, in May of 1964. They were married for 57 years and had this wonderful big family together. She was his rock and they were there for each other through thick and thin.

He loved playing softball with his buddies and loved doing Karate. He did Boxing in His teens and got to spare with Sugar Ray Leonard. He also Ran Track at San Jacinto High school and has won many medals.

He took his 3 daughters to Disneyland and other amusement parks and loved to ride all the rides with them, and love to spend quality time with them at home.

He loved taking his grandson to his baseball games and cheering him on. He loved taking his two granddaughters to their basketball games and loved to watch them play.

He loved meeting all the new great-grandchildren when they were born and loved holding them as babies.

He was a very outgoing and social person who made friends everywhere he went and was well known in the community. He had a full productive life and has accomplished many things.

The Funds are going straight to his cremation and the urn. These were his wishes, and to help his wife cover these expenses. Thank you for the support through this tough time.
