Ramamurthy was a 56 year old man who died unexpectedly due to cardiac arrest. "He left us all......"
At 8 am on November 29th, 2021, Ramamurthy suffered cardiac arrest and thirty minutes later was pronounced dead. My family and Murthy uncle's family are really close. In context I am a 15 year old boy who he considered a son. One fact I know is that he loved me a whole lot. I mean he has always been there for my birthdays and has been there since I was born along with his family. Our families were neighbors for almost 2 decades and continued the friendship. We are like blood family, AT our darkest times they would be here for us and at theirs we would be there for them. So uncle's death has beyond devastating me as all this happened in 20 minutes. Living for 56 years and all of it ending in less than an hour. The day before, he invited me over to South Alabama to spend the night with his family. He had seasonal cough and thought it was not extreme. Well that was the last time I got to see my uncle. I saw his dead body today and I could not believe it. I mean he has been here for me the entire time I existed and now seeing him on his death bed.... He has a 24 year old daughter and a wife who have been married for over 25 years. I could not see them in such big grief. " He's never coming back", "He is somewhere in this house" , " Take me with you, I cannot live without you" are just some of the heartbreaking phrases I heard today. As I am writing this I am in shock and won't believe that my uncle has just died.... even though he did. Words cannot explain this grief and loss not only me and our families but whole communities Murthy uncle has impacted. He was very funny and a goofy man. He had his teenager heart still in him. He always made me happy and was proud of my weight loss journey and my haircuts. He literally said yesterday " Munna this haircut looks very handsome on you." Now I will never hear that again. Uncle was the most humble guy I have ever seen. He valued relationships over money and treated everyone with respect. His wife or who I call Pavithra Aunty (basically my mom) has been in mourning and regret ever since. Their daughter ( who I call a big sister), Nayani Ramamurthy has also been in the same. Truly words cannot explain this grief and ANGER we are facing. Please if you have saw this story, please mind donating. Even though I will never get my uncle back or Nayani her dad or Pavithra aunty her husband, it can take this grief of paying for the funerals. Thank you so so much.
