Paying tribute to Patricia Makin

Dear Family & Friends-
It’s with a heavy heart that I ask for your help. On March 23, 2019 at 4:29pm, Patricia Ann Makin our beloved Mom and Grem, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Friend, Community Advocate and Neighbor passed away.
Many of you are aware of her long battle with lymphedema and cellulitis. On Christmas Eve, she was admitted to the hospital where she fought renal failure, sepsis, multi system organ failure, and many many, many other health related complications. Over the 75+ days in the hospital, she worked so hard to try to come back to her house, the neighborhood, her cat Wy-Lee, her job and all of the people she loved so much. Despite her valiant battle fighting the myriad of medical issues she suffered a stroke on January 30 and was never able to recover.
Due to many circumstances out of her control, and despite her best intentions when she passed she did not have any life insurance.
Many of you have asked where to send condolences and how to support the family in this time of grieving. Which is why this GoFundme has been set up. The funds raised here will be used to help cover the costs related to her cremation, memorial service, celebration of her life and any final expenses.
Please check back here for information on the scheduling of services and events to celebrate Patricia’s life. Plans are expected to take a little more time, and updates will be posted here as soon as they are available.
