Norma Laguit Valdez, age 69, of Chula Vista, California passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, April 4, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. On August 10, 1952, Eufrocina Laguit and Juan Laguit gave birth to Norma at Samon Sta Marie Pangasinan. She was the seventh of eleven children. Norma went on to graduate from Rosales National High School and National University. On December 10, 1973, Norma married her soulmate, Romeo Valdez, and had four sons: Henry, Dennis, Ronald and Norman. Norma was a role model to all her children and daughter-in-laws: Rose, Jheramie and Bella. She was also an amazing grandmother to her eight grandchildren Brooklyn, Aubrey, Ave, Ali, Dean, Violet, Caelyn and Zen. Norma retired as an HR Specialist from OCHR SW in 2017. Norma will be tremendously missed and remembered as a compassionate wife, a supportive mother, a loving grandmother and a true friend. We will always cherish the memories we have of her and her beautiful spirit that served and will continue to serve

to strengthen all who knew her.
