What a crazy year it has been thus far. We never expected for this to happen to us right now. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are stuck and have been put in a position where we need to ask for help with giving our father a proper burial and celebration of life. One that he deserves and one that will do him justice. He was an extraordinary man, husband, father, and grandfather to his 4 kids and grandson. He worked so hard to ensure that he was always the protector to his family.
In recent years, our dad was suffering from many illnesses including COPD, Pulmonary Fibrosis, and congestive heart failure. He did everything he could to keep himself alive for our sake until God had other plans. On Thursday night, February 11, 2021, he was experiencing the most severe stomach pain that was also impacting his ability to breathe. He was later transported to a nearby hospital because the pain and his breathing was worsening. The paramedics had told us that he had an obstruction that needed immediate attention.
Our dad was fighting for his life and fought until his family was able to be with him. He took his final breaths on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 4:30 pm. He was surrounded by his wife and kids. Our dad’s greatest fear of dying alone, especially considering the restrictions put on by the Covid-19 pandemic, never came true.
Nestor Soto Jr (Bamm-Bamm). was an amazing man and has touched the lives and hearts of so many.
Family and Friends: We ask everyone to please pray for him and us as we try to navigate this Earth without him. In addition, we are asking for you to share this and donate to help the family with the funeral expenses. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, it means the world to us during this difficult time. We love you all.
