On August 2nd, a beautiful life came to an end. My amazing sister Almis De La Piedra Kirchmann suffered from cardiac arrest on June 26 and against all odds she was on the road to recovery and regaining a quality of life. Her courageous fight was unexpectedly shortened and was called home to heaven. Alma leaves behind Mike, her husband and life partner of nearly 6 years, her look a like daughter Mia (5) and her sweet son Aiden (2). Alma was not only a devoted wife and mother, she was a supportive sister, a loving daughter, a fun Tia, dedicated social worker and a truly amazing friend loved by all. Alma's joy for giving to others and love for her family was contagious. She could light up the room with her smile and laughter.
While we cannot take away their sorrow, we can help ease the burden by supporting Mike and their beautiful children. Please consider helping out Almis's loved ones through this very difficult time as they navigate this tragedy. Donations will go directly to her husband, Mike Kirchmann to help with end of life costs and future educational expenses for Mia and Aiden.
