Paying tribute to Maria Tlatelpa-Calixto

My mom, Maria Tlatelpa, was diagnosed with stage 4 leiomyosarcoma on October. After months of treatment and fighting, my mom has lost the battle to this aggressive cancer. My mom was a warrior who fought until the end. Anyone who knew her knows the benevolent and hardworking woman she was. Here at home, she lit up the house with happiness. Whether it was her dancing, singing, smiling, or laughing, she always made the house feel warm. Today we’ve lost the light and warmth she brought us.

This GoFund Me is to ask for help covering the funeral expenses and shipping my mom back to Mexico where she asked to be buried. We understand the troubling times we are all in due to the pandemic, but any help would be greatly appreciated. God bless you.

Mi mamá, Maria Tlatelpa, fue diagnosticada con leiomyosarcoma estado 4 en Octubre. Después de meses batallando y recibiendo tratamiento ella a perdido la batalla contra este cancer agresivo. My mama fue una guerrera que luchó hasta el fin. Los que la conocían saben la persona amigable y trabajadora que siempre fue. Ella era la luz de la casa. Hoy hemos perdido esa luz.
