Paying Tribute to Margie Mantell

When Margie Mantell suddenly and unexpectedly suffered an aortic aneurysm dissection on Monday, September 26th, 2022, a light passed from this earth to the heavens.  Margie was a source of great joy, compassion, and love to many.  Now, we want to bring some of that joy and compassion to her two grieving children, Aly and Adam by helping to offset the costs of Margie’s funeral, attorney fees, and the expenses left by a life that passed too soon.

 

Margie Mantell was a nurturing mother, sister, teacher, and friend to so many. A true angel on earth, Margie dedicated her life to helping others with compassion and love. She raised Aly and Adam as a single mom and taught special education for 23 years. Recently retired in the summer of 2021, Margie finally realized a lifelong dream of owning her own home.  She found that home in La Conner, WA.  In that one year of making her new life in WA, Margie quickly cultivated a group of friends who considered her family. In her final year of life, Margie found peace and spiritual freedom.

 

Fundraising is being organized by Aly's friends and Margie's "adopted" daughters, Jessica Adams and Kimberly Erickson with 100 percent of the collected funds given to Adam Mantell and Aly Wenzel (Mantell).
