Paying Tribute to Lester

Today our community mourns the loss of one of its most beloved chefs. Lester Classen unexpectedly passed away last night, leaving behind his wife of many years and young child with special needs. This is a great loss for his family, friends and all who knew him. He was a dedicated chef for many years in the kitchen of Beacon Bread Company as well as other popular establishments around Beacon, NY.  There are no words to describe how much he will be missed from our lives. 

On behalf of his family, we have set up a GoFundMe campaign to ask for any donations to ensure they’re able to remember and celebrate Lester’s life with a memorial and funeral. The funds from this campaign will all directly go towards the memorial and funeral expenses. Anything we can do to help this family as they suffer a devastating loss of a husband and father. 

We miss you so much already, Lester. May you Rest In Peace ❤️
