Paying Tribute to Laurie

Today with a heavy heart, I ask for your help. Our sweet, beloved friend, Laurie Mickelberg, found peace today (April 18, 2019) after a grueling 5 year battle with cancer. 

Laurie will be remembered for being a vibrant, stunning, and strong woman and will be dearly, dearly missed. Her last days were spent surrounded by friends, family, and music.

Her family appreciates everyone who has flooded Laurie with love during this long battle and very difficult time. This GoFundMe has been created to continue supporting Laurie and her family with funeral costs and outstanding medical costs. (Unfortunately, Laurie did not have life insurance.)

Losing a loved one is heartbreaking enough. Please help us support Laurie's family so they can have a little more peace of mind as they grieve this terrible loss.

One of Laurie's last Facebook post "shared" shows her incredible spirit and heart: "I hope there are days when your coffee tastes like magic, your playlist makes you dance, strangers make you smile, and the night sky touches your soul. I hope you fall in love with being alive again."

So in honor of Laurie, I encourage you to fall in love with being alive again and drink your coffee tomorrow morning like it tastes like magic...
