Rest in Peace Kaiden

Hello Everyone,
My name is Scarlett and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of My Nang, who unexpectedly lost her child.  My and her family have already been through a lot.  In 2020 My Nang Thao lost all her belongings due to an illegal eviction.  (Big thank you to those that donated and supported her family during this time.) With much regret, 2021 began with heartache and pain when My Nang's little boy Kaiden passed away. Losing a child is a grief that never ends.  My's family is feeling that endless grief now. It is an incredibly difficult situation to face, but it is a time for her community to come around her and support this family. My Nang was just slowly getting her and her family back on their feet financially, but unfortunately with the death of Kaiden, she will need help with funeral expenses. Your donation will show My Nang and her family that they are not alone and that Kaiden will not be forgotten.

Donations will cover for all funeral expenses, such as: burial site, transportation of body, casket, funeral ceremony, funeral home service fee, embalming, preparations, service fees, viewing fees, hearse, memorial programs and any other cost related to funeral fees.

If you'd like to donate through other platforms, you can PayPal My Nang at: paypal.me/BouaThaLee  *Please make sure to note "For Kaiden" when sending via PayPal.

Any amount will be greatly appreciated during this time of hardship. Huge thank you ahead of time for your generosity.

Kaiden's Story:
On Tuesday, January 19th around 3:00PM, Kaiden was found lifeless. He was pronounced deceased by the paramedics. Unfortunately, My's family is still awaiting the autopsy report.

Those who knew, loved, and was an active part of Kaiden's life understood what a special boy he was. Kaiden's smile lit up the world. He was bright, happy-go-lucky, goofy, and just a joy to have around no matter who you were. His fierce little heart was quick to anger, but also quick to forgive. Kaiden loved adventures, exploring, and found joy in all activities. His independence was a charm and not to mention his creativity and quick wit will always leave you bursting with laughter.

His siblings will always remember him as the love bug that enjoyed playing video games, dinosaurs, do nails occasionally with his mom and just playing with them. His parents will remember him as their happy child that always made them smile no matter what.

Kaiden will be forever 7 years old, but he wanted to become a pilot someday. He would've been an incredible pilot. If he ever got the chance to grow up, he would've been an amazing human being that put others first and made sure everyone was happy. Positivity and happiness were his gifts.

If there's anything Kaiden's family would like you to know about him, it would be that he was a little boy who made a huge difference in everyone's life through his positive energy and smile.

Kaiden will be forever missed by his parents, siblings, teachers, and friends. Kaiden is so loved and everyone will miss him dearly. We hope heaven is all that you ever imagined, little one. Rest in Peace Kaiden!
