Paying tribute to Juan (Wiz) Carrero

Juan Antonio Carrero better known as "Wiz" was born on May 28, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Olga Carrero and the late Juan Reyes.

 

On January 3, 2022, Wiz got his wings and he will now be with our mom.

 

Wiz grew up in Lynn, Mass and lived in Saugus. Later, Wiz moved to Pennsylvania for some years and then moved back to Boston because he wanted to be back home. Wiz loved sports; his favorite team was the Raiders and The Boston Red Sox. His love for sports came when he played all kind of sports when he was younger.

 

Wiz had a good heart. He was always willing to help others and give his all with nothing in return.

He loves his sister Luz's cooking and he loved his Spanish food. He loved and was proud to be Puerto Rican, but mostly, the love he had was for his kids, his nieces and nephews and his family overall.

 

He is survived by his sisters Vanity and Luz Reyes-Carrero, his brothers Jose Carrero and Andre Paulino. His foster sister Erin Burns. His best friend Joel Henderson. His four kids, Shajuan, Jourdan, and Jackson Carrero from St. Mary's Pennsylvania. His daughter, Shyanne Carrero from Lynn, Mass and his L.E.B.F. family in addition to a lot of nieces and nephews.
