Paying tribute to James (Shorty) Germann
Donation protected
On January 9th, 2023 we tragically and suddenly lost Jimmy (Shorty) Germann. For anyone that has met Jimmy before, I can guarantee he has greeted you with his enormous smile & contagious laugh. Those of you who were lucky enough to know Jimmy on a more personal level knew him to be one of the most loyal souls you will ever meet in your lifetime, someone who would drop anything & everything to be there if you needed him. A loving and proud father, a provider, a protector and one of a kind friend/brother/uncle with a heart of gold.
Jimmy will live on in all of our memories, the stories we tell one another, and pictures/videos but most importantly Jimmy will live on through his two sons; Anthony & Gianni. If you were to of asked Jimmy what his greatest gift in life was, he would tell you that his greatest gifts are his sons. He was such a loving, proud, fun and supportive Dad. A Dad who was involved in their sports, whether it was cheering them on in the stands, coaching, building a backyard ice rink & the endless amounts of hockey pucks shot; or playing goalie.
We are asking for donations if you are able, but most importantly prayers are needed for Jimmy's sons, family & friends who learn how to navigate life without Jimmy. Any donation will go towards memorial costs and his two sons, Anthony & Gianni as this was an unexpected loss & financially the family was not prepared.
The family of Jimmy will also be donating a % to an organization and or charity to help bring awareness to mental health. Also, the family cannot even begin to express the amount of gratitude they have for all of your thoughts, prayers, kind words & donations.
Rest Easy Jimmy, until we meet again I know you will be watching over us all.
