Paying tribute to Janet Mayorga

Hello all,It is with great sadness to share the loss of Mrs. Janet Marie Mayorga. Janet loved her family and was an amazing wife to her husband whom she had been with for 25 years, Tony, and mother to her 3 children Payten, Vanessa and AJ. She was so proud of her children and supported them wholeheartedly with whatever they wanted to do. She lit up the room everywhere she went with her compassion, sense of humor and kind heart. Janet loved the beach, Disney, California and supposedly beer (however made faces when drinking it). She faced many adversities in life, but overcame and grew from them with her great spirit. 

I have had the pleasure of knowing Janet for the last almost 9 years. I developed a great friendship with her daughter, Vanessa, our freshman year of high school. Since then, Janet and Tony have welcomed me into their home, to dinners, to vacations and more, with open arms. I am incredibly grateful for every opportunity I have spent with Janet and am lucky to have had her in my life. She will be greatly missed by many, and never forgotten. 

Janet suffered from a blood clotting disorder since 2019 and CTEPH for the last year, which caused her to be out of work since then. She was hospitalized several times over the last few months. With her recent cancer diagnosis, Tony had been focusing on her health and had the ability to take time off from work. Unfortunately, this has caused a financial burden on the family. Any financial contribution will be greatly appreciated as these expenses should be the least of her family's concern. Any funds raised will go towards hospital bills and costs for the funeral home. If you are not in a place to give financially, then please pray for Janet’s family as they grieve her loss.
