Paying Tribute to Janeen-Harris Jones

Dear Family and Friends,

 

My name is Janae' Jones, and I'm writing this on behalf of my mother, Janeen Harris-Jones(Orr) who was born February 9, 1976 . She was diagnosed with kidney failure when I was 9 years old and my brother was 11. My mom was very loving and non judgmental and she cared and prayed for everyone.

 

She has been a fighter her whole life and she recently was diagnosed with pneumonia and Covid. During her stay in the hospital her lungs were fully infected and she could not breathe on her own, she lost oxygen to her brain, her kidneys shut down and her blood pressure was constantly unstable. We had everyone praying for our mom's healing and at first we did not want to accept that she was transitioning. However, we had to face reality and realize that our mom was tired and that she served her purpose and she deserved to be free from pain and suffering. God answered all of our prayers and now our momma can rest peacefully in heaven. Our mom loved us and valued the importance of keeping family together and she loved all of her siblings, parents, nieces, nephews, step children, friends and everyones baby! She was full of life and covered in beauty and just simply loved everyone.

 

On behalf of our mothers passing our family would greatly appreciate monetary gifts/funds to help us during this difficult time. Even though our last memory of her was seeing her pass away, we want to celebrate her life and how beautiful of a soul she was.
