Paying tribute to Genet Hadgu

Dear Family, Friends and members of our communities,

It is with heavy heart that we are announcing the death of our sister, Genet Hadgu, on August 7th, 2022 after spending 8 days in University of North Carolina REX hospital as a result of having cardiac arrest. The sudden and unexpected loss of our sister Genet Hadgu has left our family, friends & people who knew her completely heartbroken. We want to give our sister Genet Hadgu, the memorial she deserves, to honor her and say our last goodbyes. Her body will be transported from Raleigh, NC to Dallas, TX for burial. Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help during this time to cover expenses of transportation & burial services. Your kindness is very much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moment. We kindly ask, if you are able to, to donate funds towards the services as we hope to carry our sister, Genet Hadgu’s, final wishes. Donations can be sent using the “GoFundMe account”.
