It's with a heavy heart we at Maneuvers must announce that Fred Schramm passed away on June 5th. He will be greatly missed and we know he holds a very special place in all our hearts.
Not only for 40+ years did he provide a safe space for the LGBTQ community at Maneuvers, but he also was always there to lend a helping hand by opening up his home to all. He provided food, money, and a place to crash, as well as his friendship when they needed it the most. He has helped raise money for numerous charities that benefited the LGBTQ community, such as Regional Care.
With his sudden passing, and his business being closed for a year during Covid...funds were not available to give him the fitting memorial that he deserves.
We are asking the community that he loved and supported to help out by contributing what they can.
Everything over the amount of the expenses for Freddy's memorial will be donated to Lightways Hospice in his honor.
Thank you.
