Editha Santa Ana
️ 2/18/49 - 3/18/23

Hello Everyone, We are celebrating the beautiful life of Editha Loquias Santa Ana, born on February 18th, 1949, who has now joined her late husband, Celso Santa Ana (July 28th, 1943 - August 1st, 2012) on this day, March 18th, 2023, ending her 6 year battle with Breast Cancer. She is survived by her two daughters Mary Ann Faustino (32 on March 20th) and Maricres Santa Ana (28) ; & two grandchildren, Jace (4) & Jalen Faustino (2).

However, a BEAUTIFUL LIFE, is no stranger to hardships & heartache.

On August 1st, 2012, the Santa Ana’s lost a Husband & a Father, Celso Santa Ana & in 2017, Editha Santa Ana, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. With a blink of an eye, Mary Ann and Maricres stepped into roles they never knew they’d face at such a young age.

Editha Santa Ana, was a strong-willed, stubborn, yet purposeful woman. I mean, she was the mother of NOT 1, but TWO GIRLS, (& that’s it’s own battle ). However, before Celso & her daughters—came determination & purpose to be the first and only of her siblings, to move from the Philippines to America at age 36, in 1986. Her name was, Editha Loquias.

She kept her promise to support her family back home, and supported several of her nieces and nephews through college in the Philippines. She took in the black sheep as her own. She fed and provided so effortlessly, willingly, & lovingly to those who ran to her rescue. She was a mother before she was a mother. She was a mother & a mother is all she wanted to be.

At age 43, her purpose began. March 20th, 1991, Mary Ann Santa Ana was born. 3 years later, May 10th, 1994, Maricres Santa Ana was born. It didn’t end with them because I know several of you, loved her as your own Mother. That’s who she was. That’s who she will always be. We are taking cancer out of the podium and giving it back to Edith Loquias Santa Ana, a friend to many, a wife to one, and Mother to ALL. This is why we are celebrating her.

This may not be the first time around but it never gets easier & on behalf of the Santa Ana Sisters, we need your help. This GoFund me is to help support the Santa Ana sisters for funeral expenses/services. Lastly, If there’s anything Mary Ann wishes for her birthday on 3/20, it’s for anyone’s support.

Thank you all to the Friends & Family who have shared their condolences. We might not thank everyone of you personally, but our hearts thank you. We are proud of the life our Mother has lived. & as she continues on to the next, we celebrate her with joy, thankfulness, & LOVE.

 Edith Loquias Santa Ana, 74.
