Celebration of Life - Dragan

It is with a heavy heart that I say Dragan, a loving father and husband has tragically and unexpectedly passed away on Sunday. He was visiting family in Serbia and was supposed to return to the US the night of his passing. He leaves behind his amazing wife and 3 beautiful children. Dragan loved his family and friends. He was the sole provider for his family and I’m hoping this gofundme will help ease the costs of the funeral, their travel overseas, and just life in general without him. He loved to make jokes and make people laugh. He touched the lives of all those around him. He was proud of his daughter danijela who excelled academically in her first year of college and was looking forward to seeing all she can achieve. He was also proud of his second daughter Lilypop as he loved to call her. His youngest son Stefan is only 8 and his dad was his superhero.

He came to the US as a young man to create a better life leaving behind his parents, siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles in Serbia. He would frequently call them and visit when he can. This summer he decided to visit his birth country with his sister after not visiting for years and they spent an amazing month with their mom, brother and closest family. He was looking forward to going back to his family and sharing details of his trip and the goodies he bought for his daughters and son. This trip tragically ended with his unexpected passing and is hurting all those who knew him.

Due to the unexpected passing, his family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral. During this extremely difficult time, we are reaching out to family, friends, and our communities for help.
