Paying Tribute to Dr. Trick
Dr. Nelson Dean Trick
April 24, 1927 – March 7, 2019

Dr. Trick dedicated his life to honor and serve the Lord in many ways. As a professor of 35 years, he touched the lives of many students. He loved to inspire students to deeply study the Bible. Dr. Trick was a fountain of biblical knowledge and wisdom yet, endowed with humility. When a need presented itself, he did not hesitate to address the need. Dr. Trick was loving, caring, fun and loved Bill Gaither and Sandy Patty.
We will miss him dearly!

He is survived by four daughters; Victoria Sue Craig, Bette Kathlene Gilson, married to Bruce Gilson, Hazel Malenda Trick Shaw, married to Clark Shaw, and Helen Deana Louise Trick and one son Nelson Dean Trick II married to Deborah Trick; eighteen grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
He started his formal education at Anderson College, where he met Viola Lorene Collins and they were married June 14, 1946 in Anderson, Indiana at Park Place Church of God. Nelson and Lorene had four daughters.
After his first wife passed away, he married Peggy Ann Matheny on December 15, 1984 in Gaulke Chapel in Houston, Texas. Nelson and Peggy had one son.
