Hi, my name is Marc Buxton and I speak for thousands of St. Louisans in our collective love for DJ Gary Mac. Gary's ability to touch the hearts and souls of everyone who heard him DJ was both unique and powerful. You could feel the positive vibes flowing directly from the speakers. One look at the crowd and there was no doubt Gary's magical musical spell had been cast. And it was purely magical to behold. His favorite phrase was "I'm all made of music". Oh, the music! From the mid 1970's all the way through 2023 Gary relentlessly searched for music which set him apart. Every set Gary played featured songs never before heard in St. Louis. DJ's constantly would come up to the booth and ask what was playing. In true Gary Mac fashion he would happily pass along the artist and title. That was Gary. Always sharing and spreading the love he created every time he played. Gary mentored so may budding DJ's through the years his legacy will live forever.
