Paying Tribute to Darian
Donation protected
Our beloved, Darian West recently passed on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021. Darian was a wonderful father, son, brother, friend, and husband who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his wife, young children, his parents, his sister, his cousins, family, and a multitude of friends.
Darian battled Lupus for six years and fought every step of the way. Through every hospital visit, surgery, dialysis session, stent of pain, and discouraging report – he never gave up, he never lost faith that he would prevail! As one of his oldest/closest friends stated, “I take solace knowing that he did not lose his battle with lupus – if anything it was a draw. They stopped fighting at the same time. He gave us all he had for many many years. What a brave and courageous fighter!”
Darian was supposed to be added to the UC’s transplant list this December; however, he unexpectedly was found dead at home this week. We are all devastated and were not prepared for his untimely death. Unfortunately, due to him not being able to work for long periods of time the last couple of years, he lost his insurance and policy. As his wife and mother of his three beautiful children, Aiden, Avery, and Aubrey, we want to give him a funeral he truly deserves to honor his memory, celebrate his life, and say our last goodbyes.
I am currently asking for donations to cover the cost of Darian’s funeral and burial. We need to raise at least $10,000 by Wednesday, November 24th to be able to afford these services. Please consider donating as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day!
