Paying Tribute to Curtis Mackay

On Monday, February 3, 2020, we all lost a most beautiful and dear member of our community, Curtis Mackay, while on vacation in Mexico.  Curtis was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back and he always took great care of everyone in his life. Curtis was kind, thoughtful, generous, patient, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Curtis's positive energy was contagious, his stories were engaging, and he always had everyone's best interest at heart. It goes without saying that Curtis was a true friend to us all and he will be missed immensely. 

Now, the Mackay and Padilla families need our help. The families are facing a large number of unexpected expenses due to this tragic loss. With permission from Curtis's husband, Luis, we have started this GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds to offset the cost of funeral expenses, transportation of remains, unforeseen debt, lost time at work, and other expenses that have yet to be discovered. 

As a tribute to Curtis, please consider a donation in any amount. Please feel free to include a message of love and support or some of your favorite memories of Curtis. Luis and Curtis's family are in charge of the final expenses and all donated monies will go directly to them.
