Paying Tribute to our Father, Son, Brother, and my Husband Chip Saechao
Chip was a very dedicated and hardworking individual. He was a loving and caring husband, father, son, and brother to his family and friends. He can spark a conversation with anyone and is always friendly and has an optimistic view in life. He is the most kind hearted person you will ever come across in a lifetime.
Chip Saechao was born on February 28th, 1975 in Laos and as with many immigrants, they migrated over to the U.S. for the American Dream. Chip has always worked throughout his life to achieve and acquire all the things he needed and wanted in life. He worked two jobs to support his family and provide the necessities needed for the American Dream.
In September 2021, Chip was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. We knew it would be a long journey to his recovery. We had faith and hope that Chip will recover as he is such a strong will minded individual. The Colon Cancer led him through a tough and strenuous two years, then he sadly passed away on June 12, 2023.
When he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer, he went through Chemotherapy treatments, which led him to be on leave from his career and eventually let go from his career employment.
Chip had abdominal surgery with bowel resection to assist with battling the Colon Cancer. Due to his Chemotherapy, this caused him to have brittle bones which caused him to fractured his cervical spine. This led to him having spinal surgery to repair the fracture which was causing him extreme pain, and unfortunately led to failure of his liver, kidney diseases, along with multiple health complications.
Chip is survived by his wife Kaoku, and his four wonderful children, ages 16, 14, 11, and 9.
